What is Object3D?
Object 3D is a library for the programmer. But if there is also a Vbx
available. It's a C++ library, but you can also use it at a standard DLL, from C,Basic
or any other program which can use DLL's.
But from C++ you'll get the easiest use.
The picture on the right, and all the pictures from this screen are directly
grabbed from programs using object3D. So these are real time moving object, even
on a 486DX33 (my computer!).
So, a list of the features:
Here hese a screen capture of a program using Object3D ( this program is in the
demo )
With your mouse, just choose with object you want to display, in which position,etc...
You can access to position, angles, attributes of the object.
You have the choice to modify by program the position of the object, or just let
the user move himself the object. You even don't need to write code to give this
feedback.
Here's more info on the VBX:View3D.VBX Online Manual
Here, we've put evrything in wire frame.
Now, evrythng is shaded, and we see a texture mapped.
And at least, there is some Gouraud shading.
Now, just in case you're interested, you can play with the
dirigable, if you have a VRML browser. Yes, the modele
is not yet finished! Note that object3D should incorporate VRML soon!
